Graphic Designer/Content Creator

Full-time permanent

Oahu, Hawaii (Must be an Oahu resident)

Job Description/Minimum Qualifications:

• Outgoing and confident self-starter who feels comfortable driving and owning a project in a collaborative startup environment

• Visual and conceptual problem solver

• Able to navigate a project from beginning to end

• Communicates well about assets needed, timelines, and project logistics

• Comfortable sharing ideas, brainstorming, and presenting design work

• Concept-driven; can see the big-picture result 

• Able to create a new look and feel, and apply it to multiple design elements

• Executes, implements, and has strong production knowledge and skills

• Good production background and communication skills

• Able to meet with local print vendors as needed

• Strong InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator skills

• Adept at creating both print and digital: branding/visual identity concepts, brand style guides, multi-page layouts, campaign concepts, stationery and other marketing collateral

• Strong photography foundation: knowledgeable in composition and lighting, adept at capturing images with a DLSR or phone camera, and capable of photo retouching

• Familiar with Wordpress, Squarespace and/or willing to learn Squarespace design basics 

•  5+ years of professional experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Able to transform a static visual or photo into a dynamic piece of content via simple animations with programs or apps

•  Experience creating social media graphics and executing social media campaigns
